103rd Aero Squadron Shirt Large
Beginning in the fall of 1916, the American volunteer pilots of the Lafayette Escadrille who were moved into the 103rd Aero Squadron in February, 1918 painted a screaming Indian head on the sides of their planes as a way to be recognized. Made of 100% pre shrunk cotton, this premium quality, cream colored t shirt features the 103rd Aero Squadron's insignia, which included the Indian head carried over from the Lafayette Escadrille.
